A few of my underwater work, if you have never tried shooting underwater it brings a whole set of its own issues. I know NATGEO is not going to come calling but I you enjoy them, maybe I'll post more, C&C

Nice shots. I know how tough it is to get anything useable underwater so I am impressed with these.

North FL huh? I am getting my Divemaster certification in Jax next month. Can't wait!

Awesome I live there, I'm a Asst NAUI instructor (someday I need to finish that and get my instructor Cert, all I need to do is give my Cert lectures) and Master Diver, thank you for your kind words, I have been in love with the ocean since I was a child. Your right it is so hard to shoot underwater, so much of what you know on dry land goes out the porthole, lol, some basics stay the same subject matter, framing, and lighting, however lighting is a two edged sword underwater. As you know all color disappears past 30 feet except blues, violets and yellows, the only way to bring them back is to light it up and then the clarity of the water kicks in too much light and water you end up with back scatter or the wrong angle of the flash or the timing of the flash, the list of issues goes on and on, not to mention the subject matter can sometimes do great harm to you, lol. I wish you well in your Divemaster training

Thanks very much, underwater work is so frustrating as you know. Just when you think everything is ok something floods, lol, and cost so much to replace.

Pretty neat photos!

OT note: Your signature "As I Wander" is posting twice - once after the body of text, and once in the signature box. So, it looks like you're saying "As I wander" as a way of closing each post. I suspect this is your iPhone adding the text to each post (in addition to your signature option on the TPF website). You may wish to disable the iPhone signature if this isn't intentional.

I have disabled my signature, I don't know why it is posting twice but it seems to bother people, so I turned it off
