Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I have a lens which is slightly sharper on the left than the right and I was wondering if this is something I should be concerned about as in the real world I wouldn’t be photographing flat surfaces.

Can you tell us what lens it is?
It could be that one (or more) of the elements have shifted ever so slightly...has it ever been dropped or anything?
Has it always been this way?

The more background you can give, the better.

Post some pictures?

I would tend to think that there is something wrong with the lens... What lens is it?

Thanks for commenting but when I convert the images to jpeg it is really difficult to see even at 100%. Anyway do you really need to look images of a newpaper flat on a wall. The images are slightly softer on one side. I thought I would ask what effect it would have on the operation of the lens. The lens is a 77 ltd f1.8. The point is if it isn’t serious then I don’t have to go to all the trouble of sending it in.

If it has an element out of alignment what other effect does this have on the images besides uneven sharpness?
Thanks

My Sigma 70-300mm does the same - and it is already the second of its kind that does this to me. I'm sure one of the glasses inside got a tad loose and my now shift by a fraction of a millimetre, which causes the uneven sharpness. Mine tends to develop blurriness in the top righthand corner (in horizontal frames). It annoys me to no end!
