Unhinged Sports Nut Decorating Debacle

It's been awhile but today I got to wander around the antique mall with my wife.

I've had some friends and acquaintances who got pretty worked up over sporting events and I've seen a few excesses, but I wasn't ready for what I found on the mall wall this afternoon.

The plaque reads St. Louis Cardinals 1982 World Champions Astroturf Bush Memorial Stadium.

And it's matted in red. My wife was puzzled at my surprise and said, "your bleep bleep friend ______ would do that." And I said, "I wouldn't." She said, "I know that's why you're still married."

In the booth across the hall I found what had to be a bust of the wife of the guy responsible for the above. I imagine the moment captured was when she dropped the above item off at Goodwill.
