I liked the B&W one on Facebook first; when I saw the color version later, I did not like it as much as the B&W one. They are reversed here. I wonder if the order of first viewing sometimes influences our perceptions?
Definitely the colour. In my opinion B&W is quite often uses to make a mediocre photo more "arty" and "interesting". This photograph has lovely colours and tones and is ruined by stripping all of that away.
