Very nice, clean background, I like that. Your subject is all we see. But ... I feel it is too dark. Do you work with Photoshop? You could throw a well feathered lasso around the subject (whatever that is???) and selectively lighten it just a bit. Just my idea.

I think what I would've done is have the center of the object in focus, and the outer part not. But that's just me Looks good!
