I had something else in mind when I shot this and was going more for a saturated color type thing, but decided on a b/w conversion. Not sure I like it. Thoughts?

I've always been a sucker for Architecture in photographs. So, by nature, I like it. It's not very exciting and it doesn't really have anything going on, but I like it. You need to fix your camera tilt (camera tilted to the left)

I think it's probably more lens distortion that you're seeing than tilt. I've been playing with correcting it, but still haven't gotten it square. Still plugging along though. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I agree, it's not very interesting. The door in the top left was most intersting. I might take a different crop on it and go from there.

I think your image is too symetrical, nothing to move the eye. I would experiment with the composition to create a little tension and movement. Just an example of the direction I would go.

I agree it's too symmetric to be interesting. You could go with Alan's crop or just take the whole left side as a vertical. The left is more interesting because of the reflections.

Thanks for the comments guys. Alan, I like the crop you suggested. I'm going to continue playing with it some more and see what I can come up with. There's an interesting shot in the subject matter, more so than what I've depicted, I just haven't found it yet.

I don't mind the symmetry, but I do believe that straightening this would help - distortion or not.
While I see Alans point, I don't think cutting off the railings helps any.
