Hey guys!
I've trolled the boards for a while and registered to ask for your opinions.
I am an amateur with enough knowledge to get by, but I don't plan on ever making a living on it. I have been using a D70 for a long time but I'm starting to feel limited. I want to experiment with some more advanced stuff like Milky Way shots and cloud stacking but just can't get by with what I have. I'm not able to spend a ton of money so I've been looking at used D7000 bodies.
Any thoughts on what I should upgrade to that would give me flexibility and longevity? I'm not stuck on Nikon as I still only use the kit 18-70mm lens. I also have a lot of Canon FD glass, so going Canon to use a converter is tempting.
TL;DR, what can I get under $1000 with good high ISO that might, possibly, work with FD glass?
