Uploading to Album and Avatar

In have tried repeatedly to upload a pic from my computer to use as an Avatar with no success, the wheel just keeps spinning. Recently I tried to upload a pic to my Album with the same non success. What is it I am doing wrong? I have tried a few times the 'Contact Us' option but have received no response. Do I need to go through Flickr etc? Thank you

Your image may be too big, try making it much smaller. Good luck

That is a good question as to what is the largest allowed photo file size on this site?? Like to know that one myself for future reference.

I have the same thing. Spinny thing and it never finishes when I'm trying to upload a 200x200 avatar. *shrugs

If you're following the recommended sizes for avatars, it should work, you're right. The site is picky about file sizes.

Try basic stuff now, like different browsers, clearing your cache, etc.

OK got it thanks! It's 200 pixels max and 50kb max also. My original was 200x150 but it was 56kb. I cleared the cache just in case as well.
