Can others edit my Photos

$600

I have a D3000 now.
I have no budget higher then 600.

I know the d90 uses a different sensor but I'm not sure exactly why it is better?

just off the top of my head...and i could be wrong, so yeah...google too.

??
id pick it up fo sho.

I've been googling my bum off! lol

yeah no question in my mind.

d3000 is very entry level, d90 is quite a few tiers up.

I saw those links and I know the differences, but when I try to start comparing CMOS sensors vs CCD sensors and why they are better, all the links I come to find are talking about protons and all that stuff.... lol

+ higher resolution images
+ much higher resolution LCD
+ timelapse
+ live view
+ faster continuous shooting

I'd get it. You can make some of your money back on it selling your d3000.

Then again, I'm biased ;) Love my d90

i dont know the specifics as to why they (cmos) are better, and to be honest lol...i dont care. if its a fact that cmos sensors make for better images, then thats all i need hehe.

im coveting a d90, and have been for some time...so im envious of your situation. ;)

The D90 has the auto focus sensor built into the body which mean (correct me if i'm wrong here) that it can AF with almost every lens on it. I don't think the D3000 has that. That in itself is a HUGE upgrade. You won't have to look for the AF-S or AF-I lenses like I have to.

In general, I will go with the D90 over D3000 because ..
- Top display with dual wheels.
- In body focus motor.
- Better sensor => better image quality
- Slightly bigger in size.

Side note:
At the end, you may not notice too much of the difference of the photos you take with D3000 and D90.
