Used PS for the first time. Did I do okay?

It's a picture I was experimenting with and I got this product. Did I edit it too much? Does it look okay? Critique please!

For a first timer you did good ...try lightening up the area in the foreground just a little.

Whoa..I just realized where the waves were coming from. All the water is running to the left

I actually took that photo both ways but I thought the one I picked was better. Now I agree it would've been better as a landscape.

The lighthouse is a cramped. It would be nice if you had a little frame off to the left of the lighthouse to move it in a tad.
