I really like them, #2 strikes me as being a bit too contrasty (is that a word?) but the composition and overall effect is great.

2# was taken 10 in the morning so the high sun made the image pretty bland, I probably overreacted in post

i love these shots. #2 is a bit contrasty but it's still a powerful image in my opinion. great work!
