Venice c&c welcome

Spend a day in Venice and got a few good photos i think
Feedback is very appreciated as i am still fairly new at photography

like #1 / #2 dosent do anything for me.

First one is wonderful; yet you could have brought up some suggestive details in the darker region, that would bring a more three dimensional appeal to the image; the second could have been composed better giving more prominence to statue
