It's the name of a character from a series of books... character is male, however. It also happens to be the name of my dog.

This is the bird: whiskey-jack-2.jpg (a grey jay) We lived in Yellowknife for a while and spent many weekends at a campground by a lake out at the end of the road. These were a constant companion at the campsite, especially at meal time.
