Yep, going to use a bunch of old tapes, glue them together and make a table for my typewriter. Want to use my typewriter for my comic book story's, draw the characters on the page that I type the story on.

Here is the start....making legs.

Great way of reducing waste in the world ... recycling.
Umm, what came into your head to think of this ?

My Mom sent me a Pinterest photo of a VHS coffee table. I loved the idea and thought about the typewriter table. Thing is to recycle VHS tapes you have to take them to a hazard waste facility or take the tape out and just recycle the plastic as the tape itself is hazardous.

Ah, I used the wrong word ... should have be reuse.
Hmm, I didn't think the tape material is hazard but makes sense since it has magnetic particles embedded.

Cool idea. Think I'd also tape the doors shut though, you know how notorious those old VHS tapes were about spewing tape everywhere:allteeth:

Well, disappointed to say this thing was getting WAY to heavy. Besides I do have one of those 1950's metal roll around tables for my typewriter.
So instead I glued 2 legs together and now have a pair of cool speaker stands, Bose 141's look good and sound better off the floor.

Hmmmm.... maybe a small night stand next to the bed.....got tons of tapes left.

There's some real potential i think. Keep riffing on the ideas!

Made a VHS tape shelve to display my VHS tape collection of Lady of Burlesque starring Barbara Stanwyck. The poster above is the DVD cover scanned/printed.
