[Granddad]

Earlier in the month I spent some time in my studio (dining room) with Victoria. I finally found some time to process the images and these are two of my favourites.
1 is a creamtone conversion in Lightroom 3 followed by treatment in Portrait Professional and touch up in PSE8.
2 has been through Lightroom, PP and PSE8... Aiming at well cooked glamour rather than overcooked.

I see what you're saying, Kathy, I might have a go to that, PS Elements has a distort filter. I try to be careful to keep something of the subject in the final image but these aren't aimed at being passport photos so, why not give it a whirl?

No problem, but first I need to go and put the potatoes on or Granny will wonder what I've been doing all afternoon while she's working!

Here you go, Kathy. It was a bit of a bear because I had to rebuild the collar (too close to the chin line) and match up the other side of the jawline but I think I have it.

The lighting set up was about as simple as it gets.

I missed out a large silver reflector camera left about three feet from the victim and at a 45 degree angle.
