Video help for nikon d5000

[I'm new to photos]

So I'm trying to create a snowboarding video with my friends and if you know anything about the video aspect of the d5000 your help would be appreciated.

For some reason I saw someone else's video and it looked high def off the d5000. Is It just the way you upload it?

Yes exactly sorry I didn't really know how to say it. But yes mine aren't as high def looking as others.

The video is terrible on the D5000. IF the subject is still it will look great. Once ytou press the record button the exposure and focus are locked. You can manually focus. The D5000's video will never take the place of a true video camcorder.

o k thanx ye my dad has a jvc everio or something and it takes good vids but im to special to know how to upload those haha
