Videos tips and techniques?

Hello,

I am going to be recording a bunch of video at a music festival next week and was hoping to learn some technique in advance.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some informative videos?

I will be shooting with my Sony NEX-5R mirrorless and hope to make a 5-6 video of my experiences.

Even though you have auto focus... still use manual.

The best tip, as everyone has already said - Manual Focus is your best friend! Even though your camera has autofocus, it's not true autofocus.

In the NEX-5 it's true AF, but slow, not as accurate, 25 AF point, contrast-detection AF in video mode,
and not the fast, 99 AF point, phase-detection AF used to make non-video still images.
