Hey,
I have just started doing some night photo, and my camera's manual says that you should use the viewfinder cap when using a tripod because the light coming through the viewfinder can mess up the pictures. (Who else has red their user's manual in that much detail? not very many people I bet)
If you are taking pictures in low light is this still true?
Can i just put my hand in front of the viewfinder instead of puting the cap on?
Is this necessary without a bulb since i am limited to 30 sec exposure?
Do you guys actually do that when using your tripod? With my GX-10 it is a bit of a PITA to put the cap on. You need to take of the rubber piece and then place the cap.
Thank you in advance to all the knowledgeable peopole out there!
