I wish my Nikon D3300 had my Canon T70's viewfinder.

Yeah....and how. APS-C cameras that use pentamirror viewfinder systems have pretty small images when looking through the viewfinder. In Live View mode however, some of the new, lower-priced d-slr cameras with the 3.0 and 3.2 inch LCD screens give a pretty good view.

It is seldom mentioned in forums, but the bigger, better viewfinder systems found in full frame d-slrs in something those more expensive cameras typically offer as an advantage to the shooter. Part of this is the larger sizes involved, but also the quality of the basic components; if you look at a Nikon D1 or D2 series, even though they are APS-C cameras, the viewfinder system was built using the absolute state-of-the-art in all components, and the views through those cameras are very crisp, bright, and contrasty--but those were $5,000-type machines, not $399 or $899 cameras.

We, the members of TPF, hereby do strip you of the Braine aspect of your user handle, and you shall forever after be referred to as simply "ack!"

It's not my fault it's dumb, redundant, and designing to legacy.
