Hi

I have been put in charge of investigating the value of some camera equipment of my Grandads who has recently passed away. He was a massive photography fanatic and through the years has collected a lot of kit....we are unsure of what any of this is worth, but it is a shame that all these cameras are just no longer used.
If anyone can help with a valuation, offers, ideas of where to sell then I would be so grateful. I have photos of some of the items already and as far as we are aware all of the cameras/kit are in full working order. I will list all we have below and will await any responses.
Thanks in advance

Bauer T10L Projector
Mamiya C3 with case
Mamiya C220 with case and two lenses (80mm & 105mm)
Asahi Pentax Spotmatic (bought 1971 - well used)
Gossen Lunasix Lightmeter
Eumig C3 (cine film camera?)
Kodaslide Home Projector
Paragon P8 Dual 8mm Editor

The majority of the above still have original instruction manuals and even some receipts!!

Thank you for any help.

quick google search shows me that the mamiya c220 body alone is worth around $250, thats without the case or lenses. Did you try searching for any of this? There are alot of used camera gear dealers online who's prices are usually pretty equal to the value of the item.

Once you find out what it's all worth, ebay is where I would sell it. There are other places, but ebay will attract the most viewers (potential buyers)

i did quite a lot of searching on google etc but there are so many conflicting values that i wanted to ask some people who may know more. i think the 220 is the most valuable especially with the two lenses.
thanks for your help though!

Check out KEH.com, they have a good list of old photo gear.

Bauer T10L Projector - not worth much

Mamiya C3 with case - good Medium Format Camera, usually sold on eBay, probably between $50 and $100 (body only)

Mamiya C220 with case and two lenses (80mm & 105mm) - another good Medium Format Camera, sold on eBay, probably between $150 and $250, due to the outfit (two lenses)

Asahi Pentax Spotmatic (bought 1971 - well used) - less than $50

Gossen Lunasix Lightmeter - maybe around $30

Eumig C3 (cine film camera?) - they don't sell

Kodaslide Home Projector - they don't sell

Paragon P8 Dual 8mm Editor - they don't sell

Sorry I couldn't give you better news!

Best!
