Virginia International Raceway (VIR) today. 2-1/2 hours in the car with my folks (each way!). This is my first attemp with motorsport shots. I fired off over 600 shots, but here are the first 7 I have uploaded. Comments welcome.

Nice, Where are you from? I'm in Danville, VA which is right up the street from VIR, I go sometimes never gotten pictures there, have to give it a shot at races. Was it practices, or races today?

i like the composition on these but they seem just a touch out of focus. panning is a difficult thing to perfect so well done for your first try !

I say I'm from Raleigh because nobody's heard of Wendell - about 20 miles East of. It was definetly race day and it's on tomorrow as well. My folks have gone several times, but this was my first. Nice track. Next time I'm taking ear plugs....and I need a bigger lens.

I did my first car shots at VIR too! hehe. My husband races there frequently and actually.. he works pit crew for TRG in the Grand Am series.
