There are a lot of distractions and too much things going on in the image.

I think the composition has a lot of possibilities, but some selective editing would help a lot to make the image come alive.

I like the tree and the front tombstone but the back monument with the statue facing away takes away from everything. The lighting and contrast is good. Composition not so much.

Darken the foreground tree to Zone II or III (almost black but with a little detail) and look at the difference.

Yeah, the main thing that jumps out to me is that tree. I would just crop it out.

If you darken it, it becomes a nice framing element.

Congrats for your victory; at first look i too felt the tree is a severe distraction.
It can be viewed upon to be a supportive framing;
i also feel it is the tomb stone to be the main story teller where as the tree and the statue as supportive
One image can lend itself to thousands of interpretations, no?
