If I'm not mistaken, that's the minimum recycle time at maximum power. It will improve as you turn the power down.

If all that matters is recycle time, that probably isn't your flash (and I honestly don't know what would be). However, if you're ever trying to balance with other light sources, you'll be very thankful for it.

It should be fine with the V2 units, though I can't say for sure. That can be touchy.
