Ok long question. THe [h=1]AC Adapter ACK-E8 ACKE8 Power Supply for Canon EOS Rebel T2i T3i T4i DSLR[/h]
(copied from ebay) adapter is 7.4v canon battery is 7.2v generic batteries are 7.4v is the 2v going to have ant overall affect on the camera? I am trying to figure something out and need some input on the voltage difference, I get no helpful reply from canon since the adapter in reference is not canon nor is the 7.4v battery. Just want to know from others who have used the 7.4v generic batteries if there were problems with camera functions after using these.

As far as batteries are concerned, .2V isn't a whole heck of a lot of difference, especially at 7v. 7.4v batteries will work just fine in a Canon camera.

SO on th ebottom of the canon T3i it says DC 7.4V yet their batteries are 7.2V So your saying it is no problem to use generic batteries that put out 7.4V. I agree just needed more input on it since the DC and the AC adapter above is 7.4v.....thanks
