I find the gradient fade toward the back side cutting off the board and annoying me. I think the angle has enough of an effect of front to back without the faded edges. Just my opinion,

I agree, I like the shot a lot, minus the edge fading.

lighten it up a lot too. it can still be lighter and more viseable and still have the fading corners

I would make it a little lighter and also higher a bit the contrast, but I like the angle a lot, I have a similar shot of my skateboard
