I like them - it's nice that you've been able to shoot to take your mind off things for a bit. How is the little one doing?

The only critiques I have are minor and more suggestions than criticisms. I would suggest leaving just a touch more space around your main subject (to the bottom and left of the syringe in shot 1, to the left in shot 3). I like how you used depth of field to isolate your main subjects in each of them. In these cases, though, the other medicines are part of the story rather than irrelevant backgrounds, so I might have brought them slightly closer to focus. (Or maybe not, you might have tried that and preferred this.)

Great shots, my fave is the first one. I could see that being used in an ad

I'm glad to see that photography helps you to keep moral. Photography wise, I like them. The only point the annoys me a tiny bit is the blurred bottled in the back. They were blurred in PP right? It looks a little weird, especially #3. It doesn't look like a smooth blur that would come from a narrow DoF. Maybe that wasn't your goal to make it looks like narrow NoF, in this case, forget what I just said:lol:
Good luck!

#1 hands down, best of the bunch.

Nah, I actually had narrow DOF, and didn't PP the blur in, maybe it was affected by something else I did though. I see what you mean both about the space and the blurred bottles in the background. I also think I might have tried to get the bottles in back a little more in focus if I had more light, but I didn't want to open the kitchen window and all that. :D I'm lazy cause I haven't gotten much rest.

The 2 boxes you see in the back are actually tamiflu pills for me and my husband, I was trying to think of a way to work them in, too. I have 4 boxes of those lil bottles. (Son and daughter.)

Oh, and little one is doing better. Tamiflu has given him yucky side affects and he gags (literally almost throwing up) everytime he has to take it, but we're making it. :)

Bumping for the heck of it.

I hope you little guy is feeling better...

Nice shots. I think # 1 is my favorite. Although I think it could benifit by just a little more space on the bottom and to the left of the syringe.

I like the two with the sicky face on them, hope yall feel better

#1 is my fav, quite inspirational, i feel like i want to raid the med cabinate. ;)

Thanks. I'll see what angles I can work with to see what happens. The kitchen in this apartment is so small I was completely backed up against the fridge to get this in the shot right in front of me ... well kind of to an angle .

Glad you're inspired. Meds is something we have PLENTY of around here. lol
