Washington DC - Metro Station

Visited DC for the first time and found the Metro Stations really impressive. This picture has probably been taken a gazillion times before, but I still like it and would like to get your input on the b/w processing.



Aside this photo which was taken with my digital camera I'm actually focusing on b&w 35mm film at the moment and just developed and wet printed my first couple of negatives. Although there's so much to learn, it is such a rewarding process already!
Hopefully I can post some scans soon.

I would absolutely love to go back and take a long exposure shot at rush hour to bring some motion into the picture. But neither tripod nor rush hour was available that day

I love the long corridors there for the train.

Another great shot would be down one of those super long escalators from the surface.

That's exactly what I was thinking! Not used to seeing a Metro Station so empty.

Lots to like about this photo. From a composition standpoint, it's excellent.
