Photos OK to edit
I am very new to photography, and I've had my Canon S3 IS for over a week now, so I decided to test out some of my skills on this rainy day...in my sink! Sounds boring, I know, but I REALLY love these pictures. Tell me what you all think of them!

I used shutter speed of 1/640 to take these...

The refraction on the thrid one makes the water look more like glass.

^Is that a good thing? That's probably one of my favorites IMO. I like that effect.

It's really cool looking!

I like them but how about trying them with a sheet of colour paper behind the water, that way you will get rid of the distracting background

I must say I love playing with water and photographing it, especially in the style you have chosen. Great work! I particularly like the second to last.

Water is always an interesting subject and one that at times can be difficult to capture. You have done a nice job. Nice photos.

Did you have to use any external lighting for these shots?

^I used the flash built into the camera, and the normal lights that were on in the house. Sorry, if that didn't answer your question, I'm not exactly sure what you meant. ;)

But thanks so much for all the nice coments everyone!!
