So the last two I posted on here apparently were not good but would like feed back on this one. I took it in morning around 7 on a foggy morning. let me know what you think View attachment 7668

There's quite a lot of stuff competing with your mermaid subject for attention. Not crazy about the inclusion of the lamp post, the branches on the right and the warm (sunrise on a tree?) color just to the right of the lamp post. The bright pink flowers grab my attention as well. Basically, everything in the photo pulls me away from the mermaid, which could use some lighting to accent or at least fill.

I'd be interested to see a portrait shot isolating the mermaid and water, rather than this landscape view of the whole scene.

The blue and green color is nice.

To me, yes, it's better. I still like the saturated blues and greens of the first one better, and I'd probably clone out the building/window in the background with surrounding foliage, carefully working it with the water spray that goes through it.

I think the compostion is much better. I really like the subject. What are the details of the settings for this shot? I ask because I'd prefer to see the background in a shot like tis a bit less in focus so that the subject stands out.

Next time, try a much larger aperture to isolate the subject from the background, and I think you'll have a much better composition. Also, I'd try to get that window that's in the background out of your background, if possible, or at least out of the water's spout so that it's easier to clone/heal it out later with foliage.
