Water Lily, A Study In Pastel

Found this little gem the other day and just got around to post processing. Not sure if I'm done with it yet. Any suggestions on making this better?

Suggestions;

1. Fill frame with more flower. The yellow leaves could go. Maybe even 1:1 crop for instagramish presentation.

2. If you could reshoot; Fill light or another angle of key light. The backlighting and shadows gives it a strange feeling ro me. Warmer, low lighting, from the side or as if it was basked in a ray of morning light peeking into the pond is what Inwould like to see.

3. I wonder what a heavily stylized DnB ( dodge and burn) would do to a flower photo such as this?

I need to take some flower picks, this winter wonderland I live in is getting brutal ( I dont like winter and LOVE ponds with water lilies!)
