Water pipe HDR

This was basically my second attempt at HDR photography. My first was not the best...actually it was terrible. This one probably is, too, but that's why I'm posting it...I'd love to hear opinions and suggestions

It doesn't look like HDR at all.
Maybe that is the good thing about it?
But the subject doesn't look like it would have required an HDR photo taken, either. Don't know what a single exposure would have looked like, though...
No haloes, that alone is nice!
