Waterfall-Do these work?

Hi everyone....I tried to do something new, and I'm not sure if it works or not. From an engagement shoot yesterday.
Photos are open for edit. Thanks for looking and any advice you can give!

The highlights can be reduced, the contrast could be bumped up a bit and you could tone down the saturation a bit, along with a little burning at the corners.

Great idea! :thumbup: I need couples like these!
