Nice stare down! #2 is a mockingbird, maybe you just forgot to type in the title I like #3 also. I have many Heron Butt shots as well, it's hard to get them to fly towards you...

#3 is fantastic! I love how the heron's feathers emulate the pine needles that frame the bird! Really, REALLY liking that!!

These are very good shots. I like #3 as it looks like the bird is in full mating plumage (#7 and 8 also). #5 looks to be a bit underexposed, otherwise I might be able to figure out what kind(s) of duck(s) they are.
