Watermark, The Good, Bad & Ugly

You all know my big ol watermark. My pictures get shared liked crazy on FB and easily get 10-20K+ views on every post and 100's of shares. People don't always share correctly so at least people know where the image came from. Also when I had the smaller water mark it got "unintentionally cropped off one of my images that went viral when "I love f(&#^^$ science" posted it on twitter. If it's distracting I don't particularly care, if people want to see it without it, they can purchase it.

For me it depends. Watermark to keep an image from being stolen, NO. When I am doing vintage 1870's style portrait shots at a Cowboy Action shoot, always in the style of the day. Same thing for a large print, small almost inconspicuous watermark in one of the lower corners. Think artist signature. Other than that, no.
