Taken in 1954 on a Zeiss Icon Nettar my first new camera i bought a year or so earlier. I must have been using the right chemicals as the fixing certainly worked. Found this when I came across a box of old negs from schooldays.

I still have it, but sadly not used since I transferred to 35mm about 1959.

I was 13 and had been the main photographer in the family for 4years or so before. My father was a keen photographer ifrom the late 1920's and the 1930's and once he introduced me to it aged about 8, I took over his cameras from there and he rarely used one at all.
