I'd like to point out that most of the buttons you guys are asking for are already enabled! We enabled them all under a single multi-function button called "Quick Reply" we even have an advanced form called "Go Advanced". We chose a single selection, manual entry approach to this because it helped keep the visual load minimal on the site without cluttering it with so many buttons that users would be unable to find they button they wanted.
Thusly there is an element of manual entry of the specific option you want; however this is no bad thing as it allows for a very fine resolution of clarity. You can adjust the function to really say whatever you want without being limited by set choices that might not always convey the exact meaning you require.

Yet another polite, erudite, tactfully paraphrased, "RTFM,you morons!" post from our overlord, overread!!!!
The problem with buttons, is that they don't allow the exquisite tonality of meaning that a well-written phrase can give.
Of course, even better would be some direct body language which will put most wordplay to shame, but the internet hasn't yet figured that out out (yet) - and skype doesn't really count. For example, one can have a "dislike" button. Or one can pen the words "I am truly sorry that your intellectual incapacity prevents you from understanding the level of contempt I have for that inapproriate, infantile, and inappropriate idea". Or, if we had the body language part working, a momentary sneer followed by a pitying glance...
