Weather sucks

This weather sucks, its been raining all week. Don't the camera gods know I have new equipment and want to play outside.

Sometimes, cloudy & overcast days can be great. The tonal range is subdued, allowing you to shoot scenes that would look terrible in bright sunlight.

As kids, we used to sing this on rainy days...try it.



Maybe this is the time to invest in a little rain gear and get outside. Not too many other people will be around to bother you. (although I am sure you already own one very good piece of rain gear now)

Lol its not just overcast its raining, but I am going to try a lighting assignment. I just wish my flash manual didn't suck monkey balls.

agreed i like shooting long exposure waterfalls and such the rain makes the waterfalls more ''active'' and the overcast allows shutter to me changed normally without a ND filter.

Take advantage of the changes in weather. Pictures in the rain can be very beautiful. I think they're probably my favorite. It gives you a whole new perspective.
