An odd question, but, your thread title mentions a pot, and a church, and they are not in your image. Why mention things that aren't there or relevant?

Never really thought about it all that much but, you are right. It makes no sense to mention things that are irrelevant to the picture.

It's like giving directions in some parts of the country:
"Route 5? Well, you go down the road to where Harry's store was before it burned down. You know he had the best dish towels in there. Well, take a left and go down to Jimmy's place over by the tobacco barn . . ."
