CS5. I'm still trying to figure it out. I can't seem to make it look as natural as I want yet.

Try and mess around with the smoothing. There are colors in your sky, and its not consistent, which may be whats slightly 'off' about it. Still, absolutely beatiful shots. How did you get the sky so blue? Any filters?

Jake

The blue skies look incredible. #1 is definitely the outstanding one of the set & the composition is dead on.

I'm surprised nobody is trying to guess at #5 lol.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try messing around with it a little more tomorrow when I have some more free time.

I didn't use any filters on any of the shots, although I was wishing I had my polarizer with me. When I got there and started to set up, I couldn't find any of my filters in my bag! Then I could suddenly see them sitting on my bed, where I put them so I wouldn't forget lol. The only PP on the sky in any of them (other than the HDR) is a slight bump in contrast, so try to brighten the clouds a little bit. I think the biggest reasons for the skies being so blue is a combination of the 6500ft elevation and being 200 miles away from any city with a population over 15000. Absolutely no pollution :)

Thanks!

I am so jealous of the landscapes you have. In Iowa in the winter I can get a lot of great pictures of....corn. Or more like what USED to be corn.

Daymm.. if these waht you come up with for week2, you will have an awesome collection by the end of the year if you only pick best of the best. Keep it up!

I have to admit, I'm really lucky to be located where I am. I'm pretty much surrounded by State or National Parks :)

Thanks so much! I'm really looking forward to the challenges this will bring, and really can't wait to see where it takes me. I'm thinking this will REALLY help out my portfolio lol.
