Now that this challenge is somewhat in the books, I'm curious if anyone has feedback on the coins image that I shared at the very beginning of this challenge. Specifically when I look at it now I think the composition is off and there's too much foreground. Thoughts?

Maybe a higher angle? It does look a bit off now that you’ve pointed it out! I like the concept a lot.

Maybe think smaller. Utensils, ornaments, jewelry, tools, doorknobs, car trim, chrome, copper, brass...

Ok, ok, it's Saturday night and it's not like I can go out clubin'. Now I get to sit back the rest of the week and enjoy everyone else's stuff.

If this is the one about which you wanted feedback Mike, I would have tried to avoid blowing out all that highlight area, and there seems to be a lot of volume toward the bottom of the frame which doesn't contribute much. Perhaps a different surface on which the coins to be placed? And I like Sharon's idea about a higher angle.
