For this week’s challenge, post photos of water. Ocean, lake, rain, beads, condensation, splashes, reflections, dew, waterfalls, streams, steam, drips, drops... the water must be the subject not just the background. Try something new! Challenge yourself to create something using just your household supplies or get out to the beach for some long exposure waves if you’ve never experimented with slow shutter speeds.

After an unusually dry Winter, creeks and sloughs hereabouts aren't as photogenic as one would expect for this time of year. Rain was promised yesterday, those grey curtains hanging from the sky is Virga, rain or snow that evaporates on the way down. It did however rain briefly in the early evening then snow a little overnight.

Snowmelt should have had this pond overflowing. I think it's spring fed, but this is late summer level.

The first one caught my eye. Then I saw the second.
