On a couple of my recent negatives I have had developed there is this bright spot on the bottom left or right. It looks almost like the film was caught up on the spool in the camera, though I am wondering if it would be the people who developed it...

Here is an example.:

Thanks for any help.

Looks like a light leak, but usually that shows some color on color film.

What kind camera? Medium format film?

Yea it is a rolleicord.

I have put black and white, positive, and negative film through it.

I developed my b&w, no artifact. I took the positive and negative film to the same place, but they shipped the positive film out to get developed, and did the c-41 for the negative film. I only have the artifacts on the color negatives. Im thinking it could be the person who developed it, but I want to be sure before I go in. It only happens on a couple frames, and each one "stops" right above the bottom of the frame, so it has a really harsh line, like shown.

So the light area end at the edges of the frame ?
Then that means the film was exposed by light coming through the camera.
If it was exposed during processing then it would show up thoughout the film.

Is it a consistent shape on all the frames that it appears on ?

Yea it is. Its kinda random on which frames it happens on as well. One roll had 2 in a row, and another roll had 3 spread throughout the roll.
