Definitely tricky. Your welder gets a little lost in the shadows.

I did that on purpose. The backside is kinda boring since you can see features. I try to focus more on the hands/stick because that is where the action is.

I think this is a very, very good shot but needs a bit of finishing. . As it is, there are too many colors and too many bright areas. I think it would would be much more powerful cropped as a vertical and simplified. Can I show you?

maybe you have any reason, but i want to ask: why you used 1/1250 shutter speed?

if i take this photo i may use lower shutter speed, then i can use low iso for better quality...

I'm curious about this too. Did you use manual settings? Where did you meter?
