Went to an art show tonight...

It was a juried entry, silent auction benefit at a local gallery. There was a fair bit of photography. I would look at each image, and imagine how it would get torn apart here. There was some nice work, and some that made you scratch your head and wonder whose wall that would look good on?

Have you experienced this in a gallery situation?

I guess that's why we say to each his/her own.


Not directly related to your thread but... I just went to see a show of Paul Klee's work. I love his work but this was different from most shows because we were treated to a concert of musics that had influenced him. Not only was he a musician but he was from a musical family and music is felt in a lot of his paintings so it was quite nice to get the two together.
