Better greens are certainly always an improvement.
But I am not so sure the aspect of your theme/subject ("wet") shows as much as you had hoped it would. I keep staring at this wondering if we are supposed to see the raindrops falling. Or is it just the dense mist that makes everything so wet (I see some droplets on the nearest leaves, closest to the bottom).

All in all I am not sure the bright part in the middle really helps composition here that much. You apparently like this spot in "your woods" (could tell from your DA-account and your newest photos there), but here I feel the framing trees frame a sky too bright.

I know what you mean.
It looked better when I was there. It was fog. And I really wanted to catch that. I guess it didn't work. =\
And those aren't droplets, they're tiny little leaves. =)
