What are you listening to right now?

Su
I always love to see what you post classical-wise, because I get introduced to new composers. Hadn't heard of Josef Suk before, so now I've added him to my list.
Suk was a Czech violinist and composer -- working across the turn of the 19th/20th centuries. A pupil of Dvorak he eventually joined the family marrying Dvorak's daughter who tragically died young shortly after the death of her father. Both deaths weighed very heavily upon Suk whose best know work is a funeral symphony he wrote in their memory. Suk's father was also Josef Suk an organist and his grandson, also Josef Suk was a well-know violinist who passed away a little over a decade ago.

I have several Henry Mancini albums among many other albums, and a vintage Technics SL-Q202 turntable from the early 80's to paly them on. There is nothing like analog.

Right now I have two or three Mancini albums, but I'm always on the look for more when I go crate digging at the local thrift stores.
