I have been doing news stories for this website and using my iphone for pictures. Usually they turn out pretty good because it's HD but not always. The editor of the website does stories too but I read a complaint about the sound he gets and the person suggested he get a bi directional cardioid mic for his camera. I don't know what he's using for a camera. I want to expand to doing more advertising photo shoots which means good picture and sound. What can I get by with in the way of equipment. I can't spend several thousand dollars.
