What's new

What do I spend my first £100 togging earnings on?

At least you will be able to try some off camera flash when i get the trigger posted  I hope people don't think i'm going soft

In photography, he who dies with the most gear does not win. Buy your gear by need not want. For now I would suggest that you do what was suggested before. Save your money. When you identify a piece of gear you need, then purchase it. By then you should have saved up a nice little sum hopefullly.

Which is a very nice thing to do.

However, if lighting is not what the OP need's next then saving up for what is needed would still be a good idea.

It is very nice. I could use some more practice with OCF...it's all good.

As for saving up...I would normally be doing that. I never used to - I was very impulsive when younger, and lost a lot because of it. Now, I am careful, I have a wife and 2 kids to support, however, every once in a while it's time to switch off the selflessness (is that a word?) and do something for oneself. Hence my question. And that is also why it will only be £100, spent as soon as I have it, on something for me.

If the photography brings in more money, significantly, then things might change, and a fund for more/better gear wouldbe good.

I thank you for your suggestions, though. :D
