Hi.

I have an old Cybershot (DSC-H20) and was wondering what the numbers on the lens mean. I assume that they're lens measurements, but I don't know how to read them. I read somewhere that this is a (38-380mm ?) lens, can you tell by reading these numbers? The numbers are as follows:

3,5-4,4/6,3-63

Thanks :)

if im not mistaken the lens can zoom from 6.3mm to 63mm. The max aperture ranges between f/3.5 to f/4.4 depending on the focal length.

Thanks Robin! So the "380mm" wouldn't be the same as on a DSLR... Or would it be?

The image framed (Field of view) by your camera zoomed at 63mm will look the same as one taken from a full frame DSLR using a 380mm zoom.
