What do you think of editing newborn photos?

I always edit my newborns...just don't go overboard with it

agree...editing is good but I wouldn't go editing out a birthmark or something unless requested by the mother. I would try to fix or at least lessen jaundice, rashes, and cradle cap because these things are very temporary. Oh, and if the baby has bodyhair/fuzz I would leave

I did some photos once of a girl who had a rather large freckle/mole on her face. As distracting as it was I didn't remove it. I just made it a tad smaller. They liked the fact that it was still visible because that is who she is but were delighted that it didn't distract from the image. This is where communication with them is key!
